The Imperial Plan for Counter-Revolution

If you haven't seen the video I just made, go watch it. It might help with understanding where this came from. Someone asked the Kaiser, "Well, what's your plan then?" I told him that he was commenting in it; the Imperium is the Answer. But what exactly does that mean? How does the NSIR actually plan to do anything to fix society as a whole? Well, first, we must establish ourselves. I do indeed have a plan, and I decided to share it here on the blog.

1.) Unification

First we unify through social media. We form a common platform based around the political philosophy and social teaching of the Catholic Church, we find our natural leaders from amongst us to begin the shape of our new aristocracy. In this process we also find artisans and craftsmen and specialists of various sorts, and see what we have to work with in terms of human resources. We organize, communicate, and plan for the next step.

2.) Foundation

We begin community-building: chosen individuals who volunteer for the task of starting local chapters based around appreciation for Catholic culture and history begin setting up such groups. They spread our literature, wear our uniforms, fly our colors, and do the boots-on-the-ground work in cooperation with other local chapters within their regions/states/etc.. As we grow larger we establish a hierarchy to connect and coordinate all our various chapters. We embellish our universal Imperial standard with the local Catholic customs in the region of those ethnic groups with strong Catholic heritages. For example, in Louisiana, we might fly a regional standard that is a mixture of Spanish and French devices and our uniforms might reflect the style of the French and Spanish colonists; modernized for practicality, of course.

3.) Preparation

The third step is the most difficult and arduous: we begin arming ourselves. We must impress upon people the necessity of defending Catholic culture, and in our studies its proud militant history. To this end we must find those among us with military acumen or the base physical ability for it. We must find suitable responsible individuals among us to begin training our willing and able Imperialists in the martial arts. This includes both the classical arts of Western European Martial Arts to modern techniques and of course the tactics of the modern soldier. This can begin as early as phase two; in our courses on Church history we discuss those generals and military figures who's strategies were valuable to our former success. This step is most difficult because we must stress we are not a terrorist organization, nor do we intend to cause civil unrest. Our goal is simple: to be prepared for the day we must fight to defend the Catholic Church. To defend its institutions, its people, its rights, its possessions, and places. We can begin by working to make sure our churches can stay open and operational because someone is always on watch, maintaining the facilities and keeping them safe from vandals and thieves, and providing security services to the diocese and clergy and at public events. Simple things like that. We will work within the law in our host countries according to their regulations for arms ownership and self-defense.

4.) Solidification

The next phase comes after we have successfully begun the process of arming ourselves and protecting ourselves. We begin building up in places we have settled down; infrastructure, if you will. Our craftsmen can make public works of art to beautify the parish. We can work on other projects to a similar end to improve communities and make ourselves welcomed by our usefulness. One of my many ambitions include radio stations maintained in our regions where we can broadcast talk radio and music, as well as even the local sermons for those infirm who cannot come to Mass. Perhaps even a closed mailing system just for our use? Homeschooling groups? Actual private schools? Really, the options are endless. But the main goal of this step is to really begin working on expanding the Imperium to be a real force in its Catholic Communities; to strengthen identity and a real sense of community that is lacking in most dioceses today.

 5.) Purification

The fifth step is one by which we truly begin improving our religious situation in Catholic dioceses. Through our own Inquisitions and in cooperation with ecclesiastical authorities we will make recommendations on how to improve the religious instruction and formation in their dioceses. If their be no cooperation with the ecclesiastical authorities, we will amongst our own spread the information of who is orthodox and who is not, so they can make informed decisions on how to proceed in their spiritual wellness. The Inquisition will work to tidy up financial loose ends and remove corruption and mismanagement from the Ecclesiastical workings of the Church. We've spoken of the Inquisition before; it will be a collection of legal experts and masters of theology who will be used for just such tasks as I have described herein. They will work with the IMBC in the goal of cleaning up the Church and helping it fulfill its salvific mission.

6.) Expansion

What could be considered the "final" step is to use our accumulated resources and influence to do something truly extraordinary. We begin building our own communities; gated communities, rural agrarian communities, etc.. We make the Imperium a truly Counter-Cultural society and Counter-Revolutionary culture. In this world but not of it, we live our Catholic Faith according to Catholic social principles and morals. Self-sustaining, profitable, safe, sanitary, secure communities for Catholics to live in where they need not fear exclusion or oppression for their beliefs. Communities also open to others who will respect the customs and faiths of their neighbors, even if they not be Catholic, as it was in Christendom of Old. These communities will grow to have their own schools, constabulary, and social services.

It is through this plan we intend to accomplish our goals. This is how it will start; skirmishes in the Culture Wars and in defense of the Faith aside, this is how the NSIR will go from a motley collection of webpages into the premier force for Catholicism in our time; the binding force for the Catholic Laity to fight back against encroachments against the Church and our way of life. The instrument by which Christendom is restored and we show the world it can be done, it should be done, and all - not just Catholics - will benefit from it!
